Lunar muses Episode 2: Tools
I do not know the definitions of tools, but what I perceive them to be is they are things that could be used for solving our lives and could be substituted for a lot of hard work.
It was a very crude way of putting it right?
You might see me refer to this upcoming statement a lot in my writing:" Information and Knowledge have differences". Let me give you the context for today, i knew what is it supposed to mean by a tool, and I knew some examples such as hammers, screwdrivers, calculators etc. It wasn't until I was pursuing my graduation that I felt and understood how much time and resources I had wasted till then. Although I did repeat the same mistakes again.
My HOD at that time, in his lecture used the term tool for the internet and mobile, and then it just hit me like boom. I felt what have I been doing till now. I had this massive magical box always glued to my hand and all I did with that was playing games in that or scrolling social media.
I was using the laptop as a tool though. But I took mobile phones and the internet for granted. It took a lot to break that shell. I might still be inside a bigger shell which I am not aware of, but that's a different topic for another day. Earlier internet began with 25kb per sec as a top speed for me when I was topping up my sim for 200 MB data a month and it was the cheapest at that time. I don't even remember now how I went from being content with 25kb/sec to 25Mb/sec and still not content with this speed.
The abundance of the internet taught me one thing, with an excess of something you lose its importance. Honestly, I understood it just a second before, I will catalogue what do I have that I had taken for granted as I have that in access. You too can take your time off the screen and come back after doing that exercise. What's funny is, today I was just gonna talk about how many apps I have used and how some of them which I was going to list have been helpful or just talk and not worth using. Now, I am taking a second break to think about what I need to do, I still know the motivation, for which I started writing this blog, it is my selfish motivation. I just wanted to write down apps that I might use later in life as I don't have any use for them now and some apps that I won't ever install again.
After a brief break of 10 sec, I am continuing with my idea and now you are going to see my views on some apps that you might have or have not used ever and how they could potentially be helpful to you and me.
I am putting them down with the categories and then as they come to my mind, I am too lazy to sort them alphabetically.

- I swear I visited this category for the first time, I am a huge home food believer and I am a miser so they might never work for me.
- Saw this category for the first time and it was filled with all the popular apps so I don't think I need to put my brain there to choose one.
